Your Bridal Gown

Because your gown is one of the most important parts of your wedding day, finding the right gown should be at the top of your shopping list. If you are shopping for your gown and you think you have found one that will work, you haven't found the gown for you. When you try on THE wedding gown, you'll know it. You will have never felt so beautiful. So, don't jump at the first dress you try on no matter how much you might hate to shop. This is a special day. You want  your wedding dress to be special too.

Some very important things to keep in mind when shopping for your dress are:
-Know who you're buying your dress from. Ask married friends for recommendations.
-Many gowns take 3-6 months from the time you order until arrival from the manufacturer.
-Allow ample time for alterations and the selection & ordering of accessories.
-Don't forget that bridal stores not only selling you bridal gowns but they are also offering you a service. If you are not treated well before you buy, you probably won't be afterwards either.
-Full service salons assist you in your dress selection by hiring qualified staff experienced in helping you choose styles that suits your figure.
-Most stores will have styles in various price ranges. Don't be afraid to let your salesperson know what your budget will allow. A good store will treat a $200 sale no different than a $1,000 sale.

When you venture out to the bridal stores the same rules apply to bridal gowns as they do to other products and services. If it seems too good to be true it probably is. Make sure that the good deal doesn't end up costing you more by the time your done than if you had bought the gown you loved to begin with. There are national companies out there that advertise $99.00 dresses but then charge you $300, $400, $500 or more for alterations. And, although you are viewing this site online, not all online sites are reputable. With over 7 years of experience we have had numerous brides that were shopping for dresses at the last minute because there dress had not arrived. The perfect dress is only perfect if you actually get to wear it!
